Interviewee : Edi Kurniawan
Position     : The President of BEM KM UNAND 2016
Interviewer  : 1. Fatika Andhini
                   2. Safira Pratiwi





This interview was held on secretariat BEM KM UNAND, Andalas University on 19th December 2016 around 3.20 pm. Both of us ( Safira Pratiwi and Fatika Andhini ) make an agreement before with Edi Kurniawan, the president of BEM KM Andalas University 2015/2016 and told about his position that’s almost end and a little bit about PEMIRA that’s going on this month. 

                When we asked about his impression during his position, he told that there are so many obsoletes than the griefs. 

“We can take some advantages like increases the ability to lead, having so many friends and absolutely experiences. But the consequences we have to sacrifice our individual time for many people. Indeed” he said. 

Before being the president of BEM KM UNAND, Edi has motivation. He want to serve KM UNAND with all his sincerity even he has to postpone his graduation. He told everybody want to graduate on time but the important point to know is it’s not like a negligence but this is a very worth sacrifice.

Even he’s still serving as president of BEM KM UNAND, Edi has designed his life until the next several years. Like graduated early after his position ends, continue his study and of course married with someone in the future.

 On this interview we not only told about his position but also about PEMIRA that’s very booming on this month.

 He told, the next president of BEM KM UNAND has very big obligation. Because today in his leadership, BEM KM UNAND is the regional coordinator for four province in Indonesia which is joined in BEM Seluruh Indonesia alliance until 2018. They’re : Aceh, Riau, SUMBAR, and, SUMUT. for that reason, Edi advised “ for the next elected president, I hope he can prepare well to serve KM UNAND  with all his sincerity and want to sacrifice all the things that he had during his position “

Mid test- news report

Volume Kendaraan yang Banyak, Pasar Baru Macet Kemacetan yang sering terjadi di Pasar Baru merupakan hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Dikarenakan pada jam-jam penting yaitu pada pagi dan sore hari hingga malam hari, mahasiswa dan civitas akademika lainnya melewati jalan tersebut. Hal tersebut disebabkan banyaknya volume kendaraan yang melewati Pasar Baru berbanding terbalik dengan akses jalan yang sempit. Tidak hanya kendaraan roda dua dan roda empat saja yang mendominasi jalan tersebut, melainkan truk dan fuso kerap kali melewati jalan tersebut. Di samping volume kendaraan yang banyak, keinginan untuk saling mendahului sangat tinggi. Contohnya, sepeda motor kerap kali menyeberang meski di tengah kemacetan. Kurangnya sikap toleransi dan budaya mengantri menyebabkan kemacetan yang semakin parah. Kemacetan ini tentunya terjadi pada jam-jam penting, yaitu pada pagi dan sore hari hingga malam hari.
